A Little About Me

I am an easy-going person. Around people, I tend to be able to sense quickly if I can get along with someone. Communication is never a problem for me as long as the other persons speak. I am also loyal to true friends & helpful towards them as much as I can. I am married & blessed with my daughter & 2 grandchildren. They are the love of my life & my greatest achievement to date.

Never Giving Up What I Love To Do

I love motorcycle racing & I do that on my leisure time. Today, I own 5 Kawasaki motorcycles all of which I maintain & repair on my own. Spending time in my garage cleaning & maintaining them is one of my favourate pass time. Riding motorcycle de-stresses me. I sometimes do cruising across states, other times I race.

While I like being around people, I can be good alone and I'm never bored. I keep myself busy with the backyard at my house or working on the motorcycles. Another activity I love is hiking in nice areas. I do that whenever weather permits.

The Good & The Bad

I found, 3 years ago, the best job ever at the ripe old age of 61 years. I become a freelance consultant & supervisor for valve maintenance services in the petrochemical & refinery plants. It was not planned. With the help of a colleague, someone offered me a job arrangement that has always been my dream. Probably one of the best things that happened to me. I think my positive outlook in life attracted the goodwill to me.

Be it at work or my personal life, I give always my 120 percent. I never got frustrated & never stepped back from going those extra miles. That has always been my motto. Of course, my effort may not always be reciprocated.

The biggest mistake I made was to trust a group of people who later betrayed me. I lost nearly everything I had at that time. However, I did not turn bitter or stop trusting people after the episode. I just learnt to be a little more careful. I prefer to wake up happy instead of bitter over what’s lost. Again, I believe that was what got me to where I am now, doing things that I love & doing it very well. Along with my family & good friends, I think we can call this my success!

Encourage

At my senior age, I still learn something new every day. I wake up every day feeling good, in a good mood. As long as I do my best, I know & it’s proven at this age, that there is no challenge big enough to destroy my days or outlook in life. Be happy with whatever little achievements we have. Celebrate both the big & small wins. After all, no one really cares if we are happy or not. Only we do.
